PSG, OL and OM: Home debuts
Among the top four sides from the 2017-18 campaign, only AS Monaco – who travel to Nantes – will begin next season away from home. Champions Paris Saint-Germain will take on SM Caen at the Parc des Princes, making it two Ligue 1 Conforama clashes in a row for the two sides that met in Normandy on the final day of the 2017-18 campaign.
The other main attractions of the new season’s opening round include Olympique Lyonnais’ home clash with Amiens SC and Olympique de Marseille’s clash with Toulouse at the Orange Vélodrome – a remake of the opening round of the 2016-17 season. Meanwhile Rennes, another of France’s European representatives in the season to come, travel to LOSC’s Stade Pierre Mauroy , where the 2018-19 Coupe de la Ligue final will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Bordeuax, France’s sixth and final European side, will get their campaign under way by playing host to RC Strasbourg Alsace at the Matmut ATLANTIQUE.
Finally, 2017-18 Domino’s Ligue 2 champions Stade de Reims mark their return to Ligue 1 Conforama with a trip to take on OGC Nice.
