Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has long been among the world’s elite players but such has been his form of late he is even outdoing the likes of superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
That’s right, over the last two year’s the Polish forward has found the net so consistently for the record Bundesliga champions that nobody else can keep pace.
How good has @lewy_official been? In 2018 he scored every 83 mins for club, best ratio from any top 5 leagues. Lewy (85 goals in 92 games) outscored Messi (93 in 104) and Ronaldo (81 in 91) in the last 2 years in terms of goals per min. 🙌😮

The 30-year-old struck 29 times in the 2017/18 Bundesliga campaign, as well as chalking up five in the UEFA Champions League and a further six in the DFB Cup. This term he has seamlessly carried on where he left off, registering nine in the Bundesliga, one in the cup and eight in the Champions League – a tally that puts him top of the tournament’s scoring chart this term.
Still not convinced? All told, Lewandowski is the first player to reach 20 goals in all competitions this season, while he also has the best goals-per-minute ratio of anyone in Europe’s top five leagues with a goal every 89 minutes. By way of contrast, Messi and Ronaldo can only manage comparatively sluggish return of a goal every 94 and 97 minutes respectively.
