Agent of Atalanta defender Scalvini cools Spurs, Man City rumours

The agent of Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini insists it’s not the time for a big club move.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Manchester City, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are all keen on the youngster.

However, Scalvini’s agent Fausto Pari emphasised that a move to a bigger club has not yet been considered.

“We are far from him thinking about leaving. He is not 19 yet, he wants to grow, he also gets new experiences when he is used as a midfielder, he is available to the coach to develop. In the future he will meet the club, but I don’t think you should pressure him,” he told TuttoMercatoWeb.

“He will go to Atalanta and decide what to do, at the moment everything is far too early. He has to feel comfortable, train, commit, give everything he has on the field, wherever he is placed. Scalvini is versatile, he can play in several roles. The natural is as a centre-back.”
