Newcastle warmed up to the resumption of the Premier League season in style by cruising to a comfortable 3-0 win over Al-Hilal on Thursday.
The Magpies took the lead at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium thanks to Joelinton’s strike in the eighth minute. The Brazilian doubled his tally for the night just minutes before the half-time break.
In-form winger Miguel Almiron scored two brilliant goals in the second-half before youngster Dylan Stephenson wrapped up the game in the dying moments.
