Borussia Dortmund’s USA star Christian Pulisic has been named alongside FIFA World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe as one of 10 nominees for the new Kopa Trophy awarded to the world’s best Under-21 player.
Pulisic, 20, was included in the list along with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain forward Mbappe, AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander Arnold.
Now an established first-teamer at the Signal Iduna Park, Pulisic has a goal and an assist in four starts this season, and scored four times last term as he featured in all but two of Dortmund’s Bundesliga games.
