Liverpool have dropped out of the battle for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Marca says the Reds have ‘cleared a path’ for the La Liga giants to sign the midfielder.
It has been claimed that Liverpool’s rumoured interest in Benfica star Enzo Fernandez means that they will not be able to sign both him and Bellingham.
As a result, the report says, that Real Madrid will look to take advantage and move for Bellingham while the Reds are focusing on Fernandez.
But the report does say that Real Madrid’s need for a new midfielder is not as great as Liverpool’s. However, it is stated that Bellingham is definitely a ‘top target’ for the Spanish club next summer.
