Manchester City are set to meet with Bernardo Silva to discuss his future.
Barcelona have shown interest in the 28-year-old but no formal bids came in and City are keen to determine if the Portugal star will again seek to leave the club at the end of this season.
The Premier League champions and manager Pep Guardiola want Silva, who has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, to remain at the club, says the Daily Mail.
But City would not stand in his way if the Portugal international still wanted to leave and they received an offer of more than £80million.
Both the club and player have appreciated the honesty in previous discussions and there is a realisation that they will need clarity early on this term.
