England could face the possible exception of the Euro 2016, if the scenes of violence that began before and continued after the match with Russia, has warned UEFA.
According to reports, the Executive Council of UEFA has warned that England and Russia will not hesitate to impose further sanctions if the violence occurs again.
Once launched an investigation into the violence that was seen last night in the stadium, UEFA has confirmed that if similar scenes are repeated during the championship, England and Russia could be excluded from the race.
“UEFA said its full aversion to the violent clashes that took place in the city center of Marseille, and its serious concern about incidents at the end of the match in Stade Velodrome”, says UEFA’s stance.
“This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable and has no place in football,” said UEFA.
